Just got turned on to this cat.

He brings it!

The track "Love is Taking its Toll" from his most recent album American Patchwork is what hooked me. I also picked up and older album called "Which Way To Here?".

Any other albums I should definitely have?

Here's "Love is Taking its Toll" live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyShRMOcdoM

Funny, I came here to post about an upcoming Anders show in San Francisco. He's playing The Independent this Friday & Saturday,(Oct. 21st & 22nd)opening for Karl Denson's Tiny Universe. He will then join Denson' band as they play "Sticky Fingers" in its entirety. Here's a sample from the other night in LA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulDenVtmeCo

Another cd you should definitely have is "Living Room" and "Bury the Hatchet".

Here's Anders doing "Sugaree" with special guests, Billy Iuso and George Porter, Jr. The video isn't the best but you'll get the idea;

Forgot to mention two other cd's of Anders. "Ash Wednesday Blues" is good and funky and "Coming Down" is a more laid back, acoustic effort with some fantastic songs on it.

I think I am in way over my head and will be getting ALL of his albums. Thanks.

Anders just plain fucking rocks!

Anders does indeed rock. Here's one more clip from a show I saw this past year at Jazzfest. Special guests included Bill Kreutzmann and Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett from Little Feat. A really good take on Franklin's Tower;

Anders SMOKED last night at the Independent in San Francisco. Closed with a ripping version of "Ohio". Off the fucking charts!

Anders is huge here in New Orleans and it is good to see him getting more exposure. I like his Coming Down CD a lot, too.
