Joan is great - in addition, I love Greg Osby in this music. Perhaps Phil will bring him back
I did not appreciate Osby much until I listened to these late in tour shows
Forgot to mention I've watched - listened tp Jones Beach and 10K Lakes on DVD other than those 2 shows I heard non of the tour
Did I think catch Webcast of Bonnarroo
Looking forward to ending up at the beginnning the Lupos Hammerstein and Beacon shows
The wierdest of wierd shows..
Filllmore 12.29.05
The surprise appearance of the legendary Mr R. Adams
I had never heard any of his music no Mag Mtn Cold Roses nuthin
Allz I knew was what I read about him and the aborted Vegas w/ Phil dealio and the Colorado shows (which I had not listened to}

I caught the Kansas City show on that tour. it was probably the smallest crowd that i've ever been part of at aGD-related shows. It certsinly was a cool show, though. My first "Sitting on top of the World" and "Pride"!! Joan sang a couple of RA tunes...
It was the only time that I've caught Barry Sless, too.
did someone metion a 10k dvd?
More Joan!
I didnt get into the 12/29/05 show at the Filmore (went to Kimock when I couldnt find a ticket to Phil), but I was there then next 2 nights. I loved the NYE show in a relaxed mellow kinda way. I looked up at one point and saw Joan taking over on drums, very cool.
NO MORE JOAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
love some joan
