I am looking for folks who live in the Bay Area who are interested in playing music. I have been involved in a variety of musical groups recently, but none of the people I am currently playing with are into the GD. I really want to be playing GD tunes as well as originals and covers with the GD style exploratory spin put on them.

I am a guitar player with about sixteen years of experience. I also sing. I do play drums a bit, but not so much recently. I have a comfortable studio in my home in San Francisco complete with PA and a drum set. I am mainly looking to play and have a good time, but if a good group dynamic develops, I would be into gigging.

Here are some songs I like to play...

Shakedown Street
Birdsong
Cold Rain And Snow
Sugaree
Mountains Of The Moon
China Doll
Friend Of The Devil
Mississippi Moon
Not Fade Away
Loser
So Many Roads
Franklins Tower
Scarlet Begonias
Bertha
Days Between
Fire On The Mountain

Just to name a few...

I am into learning new material, and like to have a good mix of up tempo, down tempo, and medium tempo material to play.

If you are interested, please give me a call...

Oh yes... here is a sample of me playing GD music. This recording was from the first time I met with this particular group, so there are shaky parts, but the good parts are good. i would particularly point out the jams out of Shakedown and the main Birdsong jam as being pretty cool...
