Anybody want to start with the first salvo on who might end up filling out the Friends part?
Ryan Adams
^^^lol. . .
Jackie Greene
they've been practicing 3 of his songs and he's not busy in the least
Well then, Joan Osborne. . .
BTW hoover, I'm really excited for Richard Thompson next month! I don't think I've seen him with a band since the mid-90's.
Black Crowes are on a break right now so Chris Robinson is a possibility.

me too
RTB kicks ass. what venue are you catching them at?
The Shedd, in Eugene, OR.
Very excited for this show!
Gonna catch David Rawlings there too. Nice venue: intimate with good sound.
Joan Osborne? Lets hope not!
What about Mickey and Billy?
David Nelson and Sless?
I'm not lucky enough for Sless to show up
Now David Nelson..Mickey..and or Billy would be NICE!!!
Billy and Mickey would be nice purely for nostalgia. I have to say that Joe and Jay are significantly tighter and swing far better. That said, the more special guests the better. Just got my tix and I'm psyched for a great show!
gee, I hope old friends Hall & Oates show up like they did for the GD at MSG in 1990.

The words Jay and swing should never appear in the same sentence.
Richard K., you're right - Joe is definitely the key to Furthur's swing. That said, he and Jay lock together very well. When I heard their intro to King Solomon's Marbles on 12/30, I immediately thought that Bill and Mickey could never swing like that and compliment each other as well (unfortunately). While I've admittedly never been a big Mickey fan and think that Bill serves the music quite well, I'm very excited to have a percussion duo that pushes the rhythm, rather than lags behind.
I hope to see Wavy! Woo Hooo!!!! It's gonna be a PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait, see you all there. Will we have a Schnee in the house?
Mickey and Billy will be there.
id like to see a horn section
no horns!
Sco will be in Oakland playing shows at Yoshi's.
I hope Billy K does play.I would not put him
in the category of "pure nostalgia" as was
mentioned earlier in this thread. What I'd really
like to see is a set with the Phil & Bill
rhythm section. That probably won't happen
my favorite P&F show so far is 7/3/99.As for
horns ? Branford yes- a horn section no. Thats
my 2.5 cents worth (adjusted for inflation).
Billy K will not be there... from 3/12 thru 3/14 he's doing a series of special shows in Maui, Oahu, and Kaua'i with Kimock, Vega, Kang and Berry

Could be a who's who of the last 40 some odd years. The list is endless.......
I think folks are getting their hopes up... Maybe Sheckie, maybe Mickey, maybe Henry Kaiser... but I wouldn't hope for Crusader Rabbit, Santana, Jesus, Jorma, etc... Course I don't know nothing.
