Must've' been a foggy night, maybe a bit drizzly that cool Sunday night just across from Ocean Beach, next to the amusement park. You could hear the waves crashing across the Great Highway.

Whatever transpired before and during the show may have significantly influenced the telepathy among band members that was about to unfold during the greatest opus every to be performed by these musicians.

Trying to carefully analyze the Oct 25 and Nov 7 'Stars,
they both are very pale in comparison to Nov 2. The incredible synergy that existed on Nov 2 between them has only been rivaled a few times.

My burning question has always been, where did Jerry's mind go on that night? Was it to another dimension and or universe as his physical body was up on that stage at Chet's Family Dog?

The cymbals reflected the sound of the waves across the Highway. TC played the piano wires inside his "prepared" baby grand. Pig played a bit of an amusement park riff. Phil and Bob were right on with Jerry the whole time- they all played together!
