Dancing for sure. I even had an epidural spinal block/cortisone shot to get "tour ready".
Orlando tomorrow night...Earl, I so hope you find a ticket. I havn't heard of any yet but I am still looking and I have your number.
Then off to Denver March 5th and 6th followed by the finale in SF for Phil's Birthday celebration March 12th and the after party March 13th with the Dedicated Maniacs and so many, many Zoners. I am so excited and so fortunent to have wonderful friends to share these good times with.

Touched home base and getting ready to go on to 2nd? Oh well...Grate show last night, Amazing people. Ready to rock again tonight...It's all about pacing, right? I spoke with Earl and he should be getting to the venue about now. I'm heading out to meet up with him...soon as I get off this computer.
Lot's of photos from last night and hopefully tonight too. I'll be posting tomorrow.
Love to all this phine Hep C phamily! Wish you all were here.
Enjoy the day and all my best for those of you in the bad weather and heavy snows. Keep warm and keep safe.
The bamd was so happy...
Our Hero!

Thanks for the pics and the report, Betsy. So glad you're out there enjoying yourself.
Earl, hope you're having a great time!
Hi, Betsy.
Clem
Have phun you two
Made it home in one piece and the show was excellent. Phil and Bob both look great. Phil just smiles ALL Night, and Bob has lost some weight, seemed like he was tan and has someone fixing his hair before he goes on stage.
The DSO guy is cool cuz' he sings the Jerry songs better than Bob and actually annunciates the lyrics a la the 70's Jerry. Phil (wisely) only sang one song solo, "Cryptical", and the two additional female background singers are a much needed touch.
Best song of the night for me was "Masterpiece", as Bob simply knocked it out of the park, with "The Wheel" a close 2nd, as they amzingly repeated the line "won't ya' try just a little bit harder, couldn't ya' try just a little bit more" about 12 times.
It was great to hang with Betsy pre-show, and I look forward to her spin on it all...
Whew- so glad I made it, and these guys look like they are good to go for a while!
Earl I love that song Masterpiece they seem to really be playing some grate ones...hope this coming weekend for me is as good....glad you and Betsy had phun...
>>fixing his hair>>
Things have changed.
Last night...

Let's see if this works:
From my FB page...I posted Miami.
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=40867&id=1622318675&l=40070b7470
I'm off to pick up my son...missed him so ...and then to Mom's for a big family gathering and dinner pre-game.
Here's one from Orlando pre show with Earl
I should have the Orlando photos up tonight...we'll see.
>>>>>fixing his hair>>
Things have changed.<<<
Yeah- its called "follicularly challenged", which I'm having issues with, also.
As I mentioned over at OS, another cool aspect of this show was that the whole night was one massive sing-a-long... can't get that line from "The Same Thing" outta' my head- which Bob did an excellent job on- "well you lied, cheated, whoa-ooh for so long"!
Yep, still makin' memories with these guyz 37 years after my 1st show. And thanx to the phabulous Betsy, again, for comin' through with CD's.
Betsy, you bring a smile to a lot of peoples faces. They are contagious. Thank you.

Betsy, your photos are always a wonderful treat. Peace and Love from Ohio, Fran
Beautiful Betsy!
love and peace and all 'n' all
whitey
I have a definitely cool picture to add, if this works....

Well that wasn't very cool......
Cool?

Cool!
More cool! Yesterday the guy resculptured the bus which was getting messed up by the weather. He's a Volkswagen fan, he did a VW bug snowcar last year. Makes me happy! This is a couple blocks from my house.

Nice!!!!!
Way cool.
These are so awesome! Thanks Fran. I have a little something to get in the mail for you...Ironically, it's mostly white. Hmmmm...a little intrigue.
I awoke this morning, went about the "routine" and as taking teh trash to the curb it dawnwed on me...
"It's a Furthur Week!"
and...
"Brian is coming to Orlando!!!"
What a wonderful morning it is.
Enjoy your day
Hmmmmm...a little intrigue sounds good!!!! I see you on Facebook alot Betsy but I'm facebook-challenged or something it never seems to work right. Have a Further week! Peace
Fran, The mystery will have to wait a bit more. I didn't make it to the post office yesterday.
Brian and I are meeting up today at lunch and then after work.
We're going to Disney World!
To each and all...Enjoy your day!
What a wonderful start to a vacation. Brian, Nick and I took in 3 of the parks ending with fireworks in EPCOT.
Brian looks fantastic. SVR certainly agrees with him!

looking a little chilly for disney you two but you both look great now get your hands of my gay hubby LOL....love you both...
Wonderful shot!
Brian you are looking good these days and such a lovely lady by your side. With you pholks all bundled up it actually looks cold in Orlando.
peace
It is very, very cold in Florida!
Here's another great shot of Brian and Nick in Pirates of the Carribean.
Next stop...Denver. I'm off to the airport.
Enjoy your day!
Nice pix.
Sarek sends his best, he's busy at the moment watching an elk program on the tellie, but he'll be back soon.

Sweet, Pelle. That's funny.
Good pics of everybody!
Hi Betsy... Does your son go to any of the shows yet? I remember taking my son to many of the shows...I didn't want to leave him for long periods of time, and days at a time were long periods for him at the ages of 14 and less... ...and of course now he is a guitarist who plays Jerry note for note... There were benefits!
High Pelle Love it.....looks like that show has the doggies full attention.....
Does he bark at the screen, Pelle?
Yes, its been ridiculously cold in Florida this winter with an average of 15-20 below normal. I'm hatin' it.
Betsy- safe travels, my phriend.
Brian- hope you were able to have a good time here.
Pelle- those shots are beyond cool- what a great critter.
I've got the grandkids coming here for the weekend- pix later, but a good one to all who post here!
Jazfish
He's not barking. Just very very concentrated.
He barks only when he's being cussed at by other male dogs. But he's a great singer. When I play the electric guitar or the flugelhorn he always joins in, sometimes even hitting the right note.
He also is a keen speaker. He can say wow, wob, web and webblywob
in addition to the woah, whooo-hoo and ahhhhr.
I'll post a link when I upload him to YouTube.
It's so beautiful here! Showday!
Here are some deer for Sarek to enjoy. Grate photos indeed Pelle.
Christie and Dan tending to the birdfeeders.
And I do believe that there is potential for a slightly larger snowman here. We'll see. The snow is cold!
Last night we went into Evergreen and caught Open Mic night at the Ice Box. We even got an "Easy Wind".
Can't wait for tonight...but right now is pretty fun too. Here's to each and everyone of you enjoying the day where ever you are!
Have fun with the Grandkids Earl.
BEW, My son and I go to the concerts that he likes (he hasn't quite gotten into the Dead). His father and I have a shared custody so, getting to shows without leaving him is pretty easy. But, I do miss him. We talk alot on the phone during my trips. Your son sounds like a very talented musician. Congrats!
I love this web site! Great pics, all.
Great new venue. The BankOne Center was sweeet last night. We got there around 5:30, parked and enjoyed a brisk walk about Shakedown. It was in the high 20's to low 30's (what does a Fl girl know?) and the scene was jumping. One good row of nice independent wares and the best assortment of food I've ever seen.
It was a general admission show, so we went in around 6:30 to select our seats. Inside was one level of seats and the floor. Not a bad seat in the house. We found our seats on the Phil side and waited as the crowd happily drifted in.
Viola got us jumping and the band kept bringing it through out the night and into the early morning hours.
Phil is really nailing the "It looks like the old man is getting on" line in BEW. The crowd responded with thunderous applause each time the line came around.
There were alot more jams at this show than the previous shows that I've listened to. The band was very comfortable playing off each other and seeing where the music would take us all.
The BEW>LLR>Esttimted was espeacially nice...taking us to all kinds of places...
The break was a bit longer than usual but when the band came back on they gave us a second set like no other to this date IMO. Very intense.
The show came to a close with "Revolution" and I don't know if they were in overtime, as it was 12:32 am, but for the first time there was no band bow to end the show.
I'll get some photos up in a bit. We are taking the dogs for a hike today and then back to the venue tonight for part two!
Enjoy your day!
Betsy, listening to the live stream was very exciting and very satisfying. I hope tonight's show is great, too.
Damn girl you get around....enjoy the shows...
Betsys on tour,,,look out world...have fun Btes, love ya , mack
Sorry no photos today...Just returned from a wonderful hike in the snow with Christie, Dan and the Dogs...Fun!. Leaving for the show in 30 minutes...
After last night, who knows what's in store for this evening. I wonder if they found Bobby's Birkenstocks...It's true, he played barefoot all of last night.
Hi Ya' Mack. Love you. Sorry we lost you when we went through the tunnel.
Enjoy your evening!
So how many shows are you hitting?
Have phun tonight!
Heres' a tidbit from Friday night's Bobby barefoot show. Kind of a funny one.
More later...
Mr. X I am fortunent to be seeing 5 shows this time. Miami, Orlando, Denver(2) Aand Phil's B-Day/
Furthur coast to coast!
Barefoot is where it's at. I love it!!!!!!!!!
Is that Crane Style he's doing?
Phil better watch his stones!
peace
Hers's a picture from last night's Dark Star...
And we made a snowman this afternoon...
Hep C has not slowed me down..
ENJOY EVERY DAY!
Mellow snowman
Home from the shows and feeling very refreshed. I'll post some photos later...
Listening to Phil's B-day show and it sure sounds fine.
Llary and I met up after the show and shared a long over due hug. Budley, Mark, Jen and I spoke via cell phone but although we all tried, never did see each other. I did find Doogles...not hard, that man really is tall (and probably tired of hearing it).
The trip home last night was full of thought for each of us and heavy in my heart and on my mind is Mack and everyone awaiting a life saving organ transplant. There has to be a better system than what is available. Location and transportation of organs and/or receipients should be expanded. Commercial airlines should offer empty seats to receipients to get them to organs in transplant centers where the organ does not have a match or to a reciepient with a higher meld score and greater need of the organ...
This week I will have my ultrasound and third liver biopsy.
All my love to you Mack, and to each of you.
Enjoy your day...There'll be a little bit more sunshine today.
Good luck on the Bx, Betsy.
Really. Good luck with the biopsy. I know they are not supposed to be painful but I guess I was the exception.
Here's to a good liver result!
Cheers!
whitey
This was before I got clean and sober, but when I had a biopsy I was really disappointed that they could tell it wasn't hurting enough to give me any really good dope for it...... I hope it all goes as easy as possible Betsy!
Glad you made it home safe, Betsy. We looked for you after the show, but that line was daunting. More like a slow flood.
thoughts are with you girl....glad you had a grate time...hang tough...
Besty - here's hoping for a safe and uneventful biopsy with good results for you.
Sorry we never made a fine connection in CO, but with our own ticket snafu to deal with, we were hardly able to meet and greet Phellow Zoners, even Hep Kittens and Kats.
Know you had a grate time though, not only in CO, but all 5 shows.
Likewise keeping all awaiting transplants, undergoing treatment, waiting on next round of same or whatever variant fits you best, in my thoughts and prayers!
peace
Smooth, easy going biopsy with good, clear results for you, Betsy.
Let’s hear it for Versed!! Finally my hospital got with the program and this morning’s liver biopsy was a walk in the park. They even let me go after 1 hour. Almost no pain at all. NO PAIN!!! OK, a little morphine helped following the procedure.
But I feel so good I got the Birthday show photos resized and ready to post…Here goes…..Finger’s crossed.
We got there early. What’s a little rain?
My host Bob and I with the guy who brought the Christmas lights for the third level corner.

It was a Who’s Who of photographer’s in the pit. Bob and I got to talk after the show.
We were one row back from the rail with Bob’s SF friends. This made it perfect for photographing the Birthday Boy.

And 12 feet to my left…
What a Happy Guy!
Nice addition to the keyboard.

Llary found me!!!
Enjoy your day!!!
Ear to ear grin on my face right now. Thanks for posting these pictures. Glad you had fun.
That's some great pics, Betsy. Thanks so much for sharing.
I'm a bit worried about the orange unit in Bob's rack. It's Digidesign's amp simulator The Eleven.
I'm aware of the name coincidence, but an amp simulator in this setting ? How did his guitar sound ?
Good eye Pelle. I cropped the Eleven and posted over on your thread in other stuff. It sounded great to me. I wish I knew when he was playing through it to check for sound differences.
Nice pics as always girl..looks like lots of fun....Kev and I have decided that we are going out West to catch a show ourselves finally Cali here we come...
These are some of the best pics of the Party I've seen, Betsy, and I've seen a lot! Really great!
Congratulations ~ you've made it through the biopsy. I, too, love Versed. What a great discovery! That's better living through chemicals. I'm looking forward to hearing the results, may they be good!
WOnderful pics my beautiful friend.....feel well soon ....love ya, mack
Great pictures Betsy - so many good ones - I especially like the ones that capture the smiles - thanks - happy spring!
Wish I had the energy to do all those shows....You guys taking siberian or korean ginseng maybe?! Looks like Chris Robinson was in a dream come tru hugging Phil...Appreciate!
Hey, Betsy, I have a question for you. Why is it that in every picture of you that I see, you are prettier than in the last picture?
Clem
GREAT photos as always, Betsy!! That photo of Molo is especially killer.
Hoping to hear the best of test results from you.
Glad your biopsy is over Betsy...Hoping for great news...
