ARCHIVE 2010:
Little Susie check in
Hey all,
I'm still on TX with only a couple of months to go- had a rough couple of months with about every side you can think of- I'm hanging in there- think the worst is over and i will get throught this.
I hope all are well.
Just was thinking about these lyrics and here you are:
Keep on growing, keep on going, keep on flowing, yeah, yeah, yeah
Sending you best wishes, Little Susie. It's great that you think the worst is over. You will survive!
Glad to hear you're muddlin' through, Susie. Have a cone!

Glad to see you post and keep coming back. when Iwas on TX I would come here and moan and you all would even listen which helped me immensly!

Peace

He Susie hang tight and listen to the tunes....music is the best therapy....
All the best to you!
Thanks for checking in Susie, many of us were thinking about you and wondering how your journey was going.
Keep on keeping on!

Hang in there Susie...It is well worth all the trouble and pain...I agree...with Sugar...Music will see you through! Lots o' love!
Thanks to all of you.
I feel like a baby complaining - the doc thinks I'll only be doing the 24 weeks ( cross your fingers). I'm in awe of those of you who have done a year and more.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...
Keep up the good fight, Darlin'. Have some Ice Cream...
Clem
I'm living on ice cream- have lost 15 lbs. only started at 118...ahhhh
for those who have completed- 'how long before you felt good/decent again?' I actually had to take off work- so I'm wondering about when I'll feel like going back.
TAHNKS
Susie- start drinking water like it was 1999 and you'll be yourself again soon.
You're a phine warrior Little Susie. No tx experience here...but many others will be able to give you an idea about when you will feel good/decent again and be able to return to work and your active lifestyle...You will "Wake up Little Susie".
Are you still non-detectable?

I finished my treatment in late November and remember that when I went home for Christmas I felt like I'd been born again. It kind of took me by surprise. For about 4 months after that I felt like I was the king of the world. TX is a dark hole to crawl out of. The taste of food and the weight will come back. Good luck.
Hey Susie it will pass and you will feel better....trust the other warriors....wish I could give you more advice but my circumstances are much different my docotors wouldn't even approve another treatment for me at this point...so my best advice is this everyday you wake up treat it like the first day of a new life and enjoy things to the best of your ability....we all have one time on this planet so don't let things get you down...it takes more muscles to frown then smile....hang tough cookie....
Welcome, Mr. Fish and thanks for posting. I hope you will continue to do well. Did you knock the virus on its ass?
Susie,
Remember to keep drinking water as if you were on Tx for a couple months after you stop...You have to flush the space-age polymers out of your system...They don't all leave the day you stop medicating...
Clem
Clem thats the truth with any drug for sure...
judit,
So it seems. I had viral load tested 6 mos post treatment and it was non-detectable. I have liver enzymes checked annually and they are where they need to be. If the virus came back I wouldn't go through the interferon ribavirin treatment again. Having said that, given that it seems to have worked I'm glad I did it but I wouldn't do it again had it not.
Just checking to see how you are doing today Susie
Hi all
thanks for the great advice, your experience and support. I'm just hanging-waiting for the next couple of weeks to be over.
Wow , way to go Susie. Flex your muscle, tx's are BAD ASS MOFO's in my book.
