Many of you may have heard of Rick Simpson, the Canadian who was recently named freedom Fighter of the Year @ Cannabis Cup and purveyor/promoter of medicinal "hemp oil" (his name for solvent extracted tetrahydrocannabinol/cannabidol resin, not the crap you can buy by the drum from China) which and many others claim have cured them of many ills including cancer. As many of you know, I am a major proponent of medical cannabis aka medical marijuana. We know the plant as a mild human intoxicant and major irritant of the uptight and anal human ;-) however it has many more uses especially when concentrated and used as a medicine than a smoked intoxicant.
Rick's home was raided by an increasingly intolerant Canadian govt while he was in Europe receiving the mentioned award. Rumor has it US DEA was there and pushed the raid. Now Rick Simpson is seeking asylum in Europe. Proof that this medicine works! They don't peresecute quacks. It's historical fact.
